Job Description

Cargill is currently hiring for Industrial Butchers/Meat Cutters at our beef processing facility in High River, Alberta. INDUSTRIAL BUTCHERS / MEAT CUTTERS $19.10-$20.80/HR

Full time positions available. Day or evening/night shift. Experience an asset.

Full training provided to successful applicants without experience.

WORK SETTING: Meat processing plant.

Successful applicants will work on a fast moving production line (chain and conveyors) trimming/deboning beef cuts using knives. Employees must wear personal protective equipment’s (PPE) that are provided.

PPE’s are: hard hat, hearing protection, safety glasses, mesh glove and apron, steel toe boots.

SHIFT TIMES:

1st shift: (7:00am – 4:00pm)

2nd shift (4:15pm – 1:15am)

Monday to Friday with occasional Saturday’s overtime as required\ 

SALARY:

$19.10 per hour for 40 hours per week

Benefit Coverage after 3 months of employment After 6 months of employment – Salary will increase to $20.40 per hour

Applicants with over 1 year meat processing experience start at $20.80 per hour
