Job Summary:

Position is responsible for providing a detailed master schedule, which effectively balances the key parameters of inventory, customer service, and capacity. This position is responsible for monitoring and controlling performance against these key objectives and taking corrective action as required.

Responsibilities:

* Proactive in actions to resolve problems in meeting overall business goals for inventory, backorders, and service levels.
* Establish effective methods of determining rough-cut capacity planning for each of the assigned areas. Establish effective safety stock and lot sizing procedures for all assigned areas.
* Maintenance of lead-time in areas of assignment to achieve overall business objectives.
* Establish effective measurements to audit performance against goals in areas such as plant delivery performance, past due orders, service levels, backorders, inventory, items on production hold or any other area required.
* Effective communication with other functional areas such as engineering, marketing, plant personnel, pricing and sales.

* Participates in Lean Daily Management activities as required.
* Must be able to comply with the company policies.
* Completes all other duties as assigned.

Required Skills and Experience:

* College degree or equivalent is desirable with 3-5 years of plant experience in materials.
* Should have good computer skills.
* Good interpersonal skills, effective communicator and an ability to work with people at all levels.
* Must be a self-starter and motivated along with good math skills.
