Role and Responsibilities

Our team is growing. We are looking for highly motivated cloud operations engineers who are results oriented and love the craft of designing, building, and automating. You will join and collaborate with teams of the best and brightest infrastructure engineers and developers. You will work on leading edge global projects.

What You'll Do

  • Install, administer and troubleshoot Linux infrastructure
  • Perform operational and DevOps tasks in our AWS cloud-based infrastructure using DevOps principles
  • Research, design and build tools and systems to improve the time to market of our products
  • Perform research & development to deliver scalable, flexible and robust architectures using infrastructure such as code, immutable infrastructure and ops automation in our cloud environments (primarily AWS)
  • Automate the configuration and deployment of monitoring and management services
  • Drive improvement in monitoring and logging to help identify key performance metrics
  • Design and write tools and scripts to provide automation and self-services solutions for other teams
  • Monitor application usage, anticipate problems and research solutions for customer issues
  • Deploy operation tools to facilitate Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery
  • Automate security check and hardening of the infrastructure

Skills and Qualifications

What You'll Bring

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent;
  • 5 years of relevant SysAdmin, DevOps or SRE experience
  • Extensive cloud based platforms such as Amazon Web Services (AWS) to develop and maintain highly available and scalable architecture
  • Desire to automate, optimize and drive efficiency of operations in global services
  • Solid understanding of current web and internet technologies like Nginx, Tomcat, NodeJS, PHP
  • Strong troubleshooting/debugging skills and a passion for problem solving
  • Experience with CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Spinnaker, Github, Packer, Artifactory, Circle CI, AWX)
  • Experience administrating, deploying and managing Linux: Ubuntu, Red Hat or CentOS systems
  • Experience in Docker, Kubernetes, EKS and serverless technologies like AWS Lambda
  • Proficiency with common scripting languages (python, shell, Ansible, Terraform etc.)
  • Experience with various database technologies like MySQL, MongoDB, etc.
  • Experience with logging & monitoring tools like ELK, Nagios, Datadog, Prometheus
